MICHAEL JACKSON got married twice during his life, however his first marriage with Lisa Marie Presley broke down after he gave her an ultimatum that involved his second wife, Debbie Rowe, and his desire to have children.
Michael Jackson had three children before he died in 2009. The singer, who lost his life to cardiac arrest, left behind Prince Jackson, Paris Jackson, and Blanket Jackson. Both Prince and Paris were born by Jackson’s second wife, Debbie Rowe, who the King of Pop married in 1996. Earlier that year, Jackson divorced his first wife, Lisa Marie Presley, after she wouldn’t agree to have children with him.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2010, Lisa Marie explained that she was asked by Jackson to have children with him.
Lisa Marie didn’t want to go along with it, however, forcing Jackson to take some steps to get what he wanted.
In response, she claimed, Jackson told her Debbie Rowe – his future second wife – would give him children instead.
Despite this, Lisa Marie insisted Jackson wasn’t a “bad person”.

Lisa Marie said: “Michael wasn’t a bad person, he didn’t know any better. I took it very personally, I felt I was disposable.”
She then went on to say that she “knew” Rowe was around telling him she would bear his children for him.
Lisa Marie said: “He would tell me, ‘If you’re not gonna do it, Debbie said she’ll do it.’
“And we would get into arguments because that wasn’t how to handle it. But that’s how he knew how to handle it: ‘If you’re not going to do it, this person will. Are you going to do it or not?’”

Lisa Marie later revealed that she was never against having children with Jackson – but simply wanted to make sure everything around them was “good”.
She continued: “I just wanted to make sure. I was looking into the future and I was thinking, ‘I don’t ever want to get into a custody battle with him.
“‘I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to go head to head with him so I need to make sure that everything around is good.’
“I had children and I knew bringing children into certain circumstances you have to make sure that everything is safe and secure and ok. And I wanted too make sure he and I were really, really united because we were going to be up against so much.”
Although both mother and baby were fine, Jackson later revealed he “snatched” the child from the hospital, because he couldn’t wait to get her home.
The star said: “It was just magic. She came out the wrong way – her face was facing the wrong way.
“She was being kind of choked by the umbilical cord, so I was kind of worried, and it took her longer.
“I was so anxious to get her home that at the cutting [of] the cord – I hate to say this – I snatched her and just went home with all the placenta all over her.”
