Paris Jackson is enjoying a break from the road after making her way around parts of the U.S. with her band since May.

And on Sunday, the singer-songwriter headed out on a walk with her beloved Doberman Pincher named Koa along the streets of West Hollywood.

The date, June 25, actually has a huge significance to the Just You starlet, as it marks the 14th year since her superstar father, Michael Jackson, died from cardiac arrest, caused by a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose.

Always one to put thought into her fashion choices, the Beverly Hills native stepped out in dark blue skinny jeans with holes on both knees and a brown and tan-patterned jacket over a black t-shirt.

She also donned a pair of black high-top sneakers, and had her long dark brown tresses teased back off her her face with a slight part on the right, all while adding an extra touch of volume.

Jackson, 25, made her way on the the sidewalk and through a number of streets while holding tight to her pet pooch’s leash.

With the sun glaring down and the temperature topping 70 degrees Fahrenheit, thr stylish star also donned cool, large-frame sunglasses.

Koa appeared to have a a dark harness over the front of his body and a blue bandana around is neck.

Showing signs of being a solid pack leaders, Jackson walked consistently with her four-legged family members by her side, which is a proper dog walk.

The Baidaid musician has been out on tour for about a month, before arriving back home in Los Angeles.

Among her shows were performances at such large venues as the 2023 Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival and the 2023 BottleRock Napa Valley music festival.

Jackson and her band are slated to resume their summer trek with a show at the Wonderstruck festival in Cleveland on July 8 and 9, according to her website.

They are expected to play through until August 29 in Grand Junction, Colorado, and then take a break before having a big homecoming gig at the famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 6.

It was on this day in 2009 that the news began to spread of Michael Jackson’s death, which came just three weeks before his sold out concert residency was due to begin in London, England.

Paramedics received a 911 call at 12:22 p.m. PT about reports that the so-called King Of Pop was not breathing, Emergency workers arrived just three minutes late and began performing CPR on him, all the way en route to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Ultimately, Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm PT, which was more than an hour after arriving at the hospital.

Over the days and weeks it was revealed that his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, had given Jackson various medications to help him sleep at his rented mansion in Holmby Hills in Los Angeles.

‘They always say, “Time heals,”‘ Jackson said in a Rolling Stone interview in 2017, when she was 18. ‘But it really doesn’t. You just get used to it. I live life with the mentality of “OK, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me.” So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.’

At the time, she revealed how her dad had been visiting her regularly in her dreams.

‘I feel him with me all the time,’ she added.

Within four years of the death of her father, Paris was ‘drowning in depression and a drug addiction’ leading to a suicide attempt at 15, by slashing her wrist and downing 20 Motrin pills.
Paris called that period of her life a matter of ‘self-hatred’ and ‘low self-esteem.’

And on top of all that she also began self-harming, by ‘cutting herself’, which she managing to conceal from her family.

Now, 10 years on from those dark days, Paris Jackson appears to have come to come out on the other side, throwing herself into a career in rock music.

Most recently, she released her single Bandaid and its soft-hard dynamic between the verses and chorus, that’s been a stylized songwriting tool for alternative rock bands of yesteryear like Nirvana.

Her previous single, Just You, that dropped in 2022, is also another catchy sing-along, mid-tempo rock romper.

Jackson last released a batch of new songs with The Lost EP, which is just that, an extended play that dropped in February 2022 through Republic Records.

Just a few years ago, the musician was releasing music as part of the musical duo The Soundflowers, alongside Gabriel Glenn.

With a stripped down acoustic sound, including Jackson on vocals and a ukulele and Glenn on guitar and vocal, The Soundflowers dropped their first self-titled EP in June 2020.
