A Reddit user has presented some proof that, perhaps, less is more when it comes to adult material.

Sports teams in Texas are balling out right now. The Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets are both on winning streaks, and their runs have been linked to a certain adult site that begins with “P” and ends with “B” getting banned in the state.

As shown in the graphic below, the Mavericks and Rockets haven’t lost since the popular site was banned in TX and have gone a combined 11-0.

The Dallas Mavericks are on a five-game winning streak since the ban, while the Houston Rockets are 6-0. To be fair, though, the Rockets had already won four straight games before sanctions came down and are on a 10-run following their win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.

The Dallas Cowboys Should Be Very Jealous Of The Dallas Mavericks Right Now

The Dallas Cowboys are probably wishing they weren’t in the offseason as they could have certainly used a run like the one the Dallas Mavericks are on during the playoffs. After putting a solid regular season together, the Cowboys crashed out in a shocking, embarrassing loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Houston Texans might be a little envious too, but hardly as much as their Dallas counterparts as they had a very respectable season yielding a playoff win with a first-year head coach and rookie quarterback running the show.

Why The Adult Site Is Banned In Texas

Said site has prohibited access to its platform in the state due to its age verification laws. Folks in Texas trying to get on have been greeted by a letter that explains that content is no longer accessible.

[W]e have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Texas,” it reads. “In doing so, we are complying with the law, as we always do, but hope that governments around the world will implement laws that actually protect the safety and security of users.

This results from the state’s attempts to protect minors from harmful sexual material, with a new bill requiring sites bearing pornographic content to verify users’ ages by requesting identification.

The Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets are both in action on Friday night, they might just lend the theory some weight.
