Scottie Pippen’s Alleged Ex-Girlfriend Sues Him
A woman claiming to be Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen’s ex-girlfriend is suing both him and his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, for alleged harassment and stalking.
The woman in question, Chyvette Valentine, filed suit in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, on Wednesday.
According to Page Six, “after their alleged romance ended, Valentine claimed in the suit that Scottie ‘used his celebrity as a Chicago Bulls player’ to allegedly ‘stalk, harass and torment’ her.”
She also maintains that she “lost several employment opportunities and housing over the six-time NBA champion’s alleged stalking.”
In addition, Valentine also says that Pippen “used his connections with local, state and federal employees to allegedly cancel a police report she filed against him and allegedly falsified her reports to portray her as ‘mentally ill.’”
Valentine is suing for $250 million.
It is hard to know what to make of this case, but it is hard to ignore how weird Pippen has been over the past few years.
Between his changing positions on Michael Jordan on a seemingly weekly basis, that time he drove around with a shirtless woman in his the backseat of his car, and his recent reaction to Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s breakup, it has been one thing after another with him.
For a guy who used to only be in the headlines for his status as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, all he lands in the news for now is weird off the court drama.
Again, there is no way to know if Valentine’s claims are true or false.
That is something for the legal system to render a verdict on.
But it is hard to ignore how unfortunate of a time Pippen has had over the past few years.
What craziness will befall Pippen next? Time will tell.
