Social Media Questioning The Way Shannon Sharpe Hugged His Daughter In Behind-The-Scenes Footage From His Last Day On ‘Undisputed’ (VIDEO)

NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe is no longer part of Undisputed, having made his final appearance on the show this Tuesday.

It had been reported that Sharpe, a former pro tight end, would be vacating his chair at the end of the NBA season.

And, sure enough, with the Denver Nuggets beating the Miami Heat to win the title on Monday night, Unc pulled up to work looking rather dapper ahead of what would be his last episode.

While he went through his business as he normally would, the 54-year-old’s emotions were on full display as he would break down while thanking co-host Skip Bayless.

The three-time Super Bowl winner has since posted a behind-the-scenes video in which he’s shown arriving to work at FOX, getting dressed, doing his final bit, and then exiting the building.

Sharpe had called his daughter Kayley to the desk while saying his goodbyes, embracing her, and thanking her before heading off. While the segment that was broadcast to television did not show their bodies in full, Sharpe’s behind-the-scenes clip showed the position of his hand while he hugged her. And social media had questions…

I was looking for this comment. I flinched when I saw how far down his hand is and headed straight to the comments.?

I said the same thing he was to close to her behind

A bit awkward in truth, but it actually paints a better picture of Sharpe as he was bashed for the way he held singer Kandi Burruss while they posed for a photo when she was a guest on his podcast back in March.

It appears that’s just how Shannon hugs. If he embraces his daughter in such a manner, then it’s clear he doesn’t mean anything by it.

He did make a living catching footballs, so he must be pretty handsy.
