Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy has reignited his feud with Kim Kardashian after Taylor Swift‘s blockbuster interview with Time magazine on Wednesday.

Swift reflected on her dispute with Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West who, in 2016, wrote a song with vulgar lyrics about the pop star.

He claimed Taylor had consented to the reference but, after denying it, Kim released what the popstar described as ‘an illegally recorded phone call’ between the pair which she claimed proved otherwise.

Speaking to Time as part of being named their person of the year, Swift said of the incident: ‘You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar. That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.’

And Portnoy chimed in himself on X, retweeting that quote and writing: ‘THIS. And Kim Kardashian acts like it never happened. Plays her music in her stories. There is no apology for this. Kim Kardashian is trash.’

The 46-year-old Portnoy wasn’t finished there, as he wrote in another post: ‘I have been beating this drum so loudly for so long. KIM KARDASHIAN IS TRASH and has never been held accountable for her actions. Tik tok….tik tok!!!’

While it is unclear exactly how Kardashian first irked Portnoy, he has always been quick to shoot her down if ever she has been linked with anything in the sporting world.

Swift, of course, is currently dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce but earlier this year, Kardashian was linked romantically with the ultimate great of NFL in Tom Brady.

It sparked Portnoy into posting a video on X about the links, saying: ‘Ok, I’m going to do a real quick rant here. Just saw a post on Twitter, from New York Post, that Tom Brady is supposedly dating Kim Kardashian. I can’t have this. I can’t have this. It makes me wanna puke.’

He captioned the post: ‘Tom Brady can’t date Kim Kardashian. If he’s not better than that than (sic) we as men have nothing.’

It turned out that there was nothing in those rumors – Brady instead had a short-lived romance with Irina Shayk.
