‘ I want to make you the happiest woman in the world.’ Travis Kelce will be with Taylor Swift today at the Golden Globes ceremony

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been almost inseparable since they officially began dating in September, quickly becoming America’s next power couple in both showbiz and sport.

The Cruel Summer singer has rarely been seen in public without Kelce in the vicinity, with the smitten pair unable to keep their hands off each other.

As well as spending time together for her 34th birthday in December, Swift also spent Christmas and the New Year with her beau, jetting around the country to ensure their schedules lined up.

But ahead of the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday, January 7, Kelce’s absence will be notable when Swift steps onto the red carpet in what will surely be a dazzling dress.

The songwriter, who has taken a brief hiatus from her Eras Tour, is not just there to make up the numbers. The film documenting her record-breaking tour is one of eight films that have been nominated for the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, which is contested by the year’s highest-grossing movies.

The other contenders for the prize are: Barbie; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3; John Wick: Chapter 4; Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1; Oppenheimer; Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse; and The Super Mario Bros Movie.

Will Travis Kelce attend the Golden Globes?
While Swift has attended nearly half of their 2023 regular season games at Arrowhead Stadium, Kelce is unable to return the favor.

As much as Kelce would like to support his girlfriend, his day job as tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs means he must stay with the team for their Week 18 fixture against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kickoff is scheduled for 1.25pm EST, while the red carpet will begin at 2pm EST.

Sources have reportedly told, that Kelce plans to stay back while others fly back to Kansas  after their game.

And that would guarantee he can make the red carpet appearance with Swift at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, although there is likely to be plenty more opportunities to make it up to her and celebrate if she happens to take home the prize.
