Kim Kardashian opens up about her first ever photo shoto for a dog publication called K9 Magazine on The Kardashians Season 4 finale.

The family – except Kourtney – were celebrating Scott Disick‘s 40th birthday at the top of the episode, as family members were making toasts.

After Khloe gave a heartfelt speech, Kim – who recently promoted her shapewear SKIMS’ annual sale – raised her glass to Disick.

I have known Scott for 19 years. Scott has supported me through thick and thin, cause that’s who you are,’ as Scott jokes, ‘I’ve loved you thick… and thin.’

Kim adds, ‘You were with me through every phase,’ as Scott adds, ‘When you were on the front of Dog Fancy,’ as Khloe corrects, ‘It’s called K9 Magazine.’

K9 Magazine: Kim adds, ‘You were with me through every phase,’ as Scott adds, ‘When you were on the front of Dog Fancy,’ as Khloe corrects, ‘It’s called K9 Magazine

Kim jokes, ‘Anything for a cover. If anyone wants to know what my first cover is, K9 Magazine,’ as they show Kim on the cover of the magazine with an adorable pooch.

Scott adds, ‘And I was like, you don’t like dogs. And now you’re an attorney-at-law, a Vogue cover model.’

Kim adds, ‘Guys, guys, we scammed the system. We did it. Whatever it is, we figured it out and we did it. We put in some hard work.’

Kim adds in confession, ‘Scott’s my motivator. He’ll always say, “God, can you believe you did it,” and I’m like, “I can’t. This is crazy!’

They bring out a white cake with a heart that reads, ‘The Lord is 40’ as they all sing Happy Birthday to Disick.

‘We aren’t supposed to be here, you know. How did we get in this cool party? We weren’t the cool kids, like how did we do it?’ Kim adds in confession.

Kim continues in confession, ‘Scott’s birthday party was so much fun, but I have to get ready and go back to New York. I’m filming American Horror Story. No days off.’

Kim spent the majority of the episode in New York City filming her role as Siobhan on the FX series American Horror Story.

Cool party: ‘We aren’t supposed to be here, you know. How did we get in this cool party? We weren’t the cool kids, like how did we do it?’ Kim adds in confession

She chatted with co-star Emma Roberts on the set and says, ‘I did write all my sisters and my mom and everyone today and I said, “You guys, I just want you to be really appreciative. This s**t’s like really long hours. You should be really lucky that you have to roll out of bed and film in your f***ing house,’ as Emma starts laughing.

Kim adds, ‘with makeup, without makeup, whatever you wanna do, like, it’s such… it’s a lot of work,’ as Emma admits, ‘It’s a different beast, definitely.’

Kim adds in confession, ‘I have like eight days of full back-to-back work,’ while Emma says she’s going to get dressed, ‘so you’re not waiting on me.’

Kim adds, ‘I have so much respect for actors. These long hours are really, really crazy.’
