LeBron James to Start Streaming? Twitch and Kick Get Into Beef to Prove Their Superiority to the $1 Billion Worth NBA Megastar

Over the last 10 years or so, streaming on several platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and Facebook has increased tremendously. In addition to the numerous streamers, gamers, YouTubers, and content creators who broadcast on a regular basis, some celebrities have dabbled in live streaming on occasion or on a regular basis.

After the COVID pandemic struck in 2020, quite a number of celebrities started streaming for fun. A wide range of personalities, including football players, race car drivers, actresses, politicians, and musicians, have been livestreaming. Notable mentions include Terry Crews, Snoop Dogg, Paige, Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Dele Alli, Alphonso Davies, Rahul Kohli, Sergio Aguero, and Terry Crews.

Now, NBA star LeBron James also has shown an interest in entering the streaming space, and Twitch and Kick aren’t wasting any time in attempting to persuade him to do so. LeBron disclosed on X that he was considering broadcasting his Madden NFL games when he plays and was seeking advice on which platform to take into consideration.

NBA star LeBron James to start streaming

LeBron James, the second-greatest basketball player of all time, announced on December 29 that he had planned to start streaming Madden but wasn’t sure which platform to sign up for. The biggest names in Kick promptly intervened to try and persuade the Lakers star to go with them.

“Thinking of live streaming my @EAMaddenNFL games when I play. Who should I stream with? Meaning which platform brand”, he asked.

The biggest names in Kick promptly intervened to try and persuade the Lakers star to go with them. In response, Adin Ross and Trainwreck argued that Kick would be a perfect fit for the basketball star. “Come to Kick. I’ll get you a bag, my glorious king,” Adin commented.

Even Kick Head of Strategic Partnerships Andrew Santamaria commented, adding, “time to work,” implying that he was getting ready to make the Lakers star a special contract offer.

But this wasn’t the only proposition that was being offered. Additionally, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy justified the Amazon-owned platform in response to LeBron James’ debacle. “I am a bit biased given that I run Twitch but Twitch is the best platform for engaging with your fans. You also could consider streaming on Twitch and YouTube at the same time”, he added.

Fans of the NBA star have also come up with their opinion about this debacle. While some suggested that Kick is the best platform for LeBron, others were of the opinion that he should join hands with Twitch.

With actor and MultiVersus fighter LeBron James interested in joining a platform, the streaming wars between Kick and Twitch might be about to take a significant turn.
