Michael Jordan had a harsh message for his son about getting married to Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife

The odd couple still want Mike to be the best man at their wedding

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen formed one of the most successful duos in NBA history on the Chicago Bulls, but back in the 1990s, neither of them would have seen this coming.

Michael’s son, Marcus Jordan, is in a relationship with Scottie’s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen. Despite the strange dynamic, Marcus and Larsa are outspoken about their profound love. But what does Michael Jordan think about the situation?

Michael Jordan’s comments on Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen

Clips from Marcus and Larsa’s appearance on the Pablo Torre Finds Out show went viral this week as the former ESPN personality peppered the couple with hard-hitting questions about the specifics of their relationship.

Naturally, Michael Jordan came up in the conversation, but Larsa Pippen deflected the question.

“I don’t wanna talk about Michael. I don’t wanna talk about my ex. I feel like we’re really comfortable talking about us,” Larsa stated. Then, “Heir Jordan” jumped in and revealed the serious conversation he had with his dad about it.

“He was like, ‘You’re a grown a– man, you can make your own decisions,’” Marcus said of Michael’s harsh but firm fatherly advice.. “He’s never intervened in my dating life prior to Larsa, so he’s not gonna start now.”

The most talked-about moment from the whole interview was the younger Jordan stating his wish for his dad to be the best man at the wedding. He said it was a cherished family tradition that they wanted to continue.

The whole relationship is anything but traditional, but Marcus and Larsa continue to buck the trend confidently, with some sound advice from the 6-time NBA champion along the way.
