Puka Nacua dribbling with basketball in celebrity game.
If Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua decides to quit football early (for whatever reason), he might want to consider taking up a career in pro basketball.

Nacua participated in Friday’s NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, which was part of the weekend’s festivities. The game featured “Team Shannon” (for Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN analyst Shannon Sharpe), against “Team Stephen A. ” (for ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith).

The Rams’ 2023 rookie sensation was must-watch TV throughout the game, breaking the internet on this jaw-dropping slam dunk late in the first quarter:

Team Shannon held on for a 100-91 victory over Team Stephen A. The league will bring back the Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference format for this year’s All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday at the Indiana Pacers’ home venue of Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The 22-year-old Nacua pieced together one of the greatest rookie seasons in NFL history, finishing with 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. Nacua helped the Rams to a surprise 10-7 record and postseason appearance.

LA lost to the Detroit Lions on Super Wild Card Weekend. In that game, Nacua caught nine passes for 181 yards and a touchdown.
