russell westbrook arguing with a fan
Los Angeles Clippers guard Russell Westbrook continues to beef with hecklers every single year and many of them end up wasting their money as they get kicked out of the arena as a result.

The most recent case was Sunday in South Beach when the Los Angeles Clippers squared off against the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center.

A Miami Heat fan was ejected from the team’s recent game against the Clippers after appearing to call Russell Westbrook “boy” as he sat near his son.

One video shows the man shouting “I paid for these seats, boy” at Westbrook who is being held back from going at that fan. At that point, security guards step in to escort the fan from his seat.

It is currently unclear what started the argument between the fan and Westbrook.

“Boy,” especially when used by a white individual towards a Black man, is considered to be a racial slur.

Westbrook is among the players who refuse to put up with heckling from fans and has made it clear he will argue with them back over disrespectful behavior.

The Heat’s loss to the Clippers was their only defeat in the past five games. Westbrook had 5 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists in the game.

As of this writing, the Clippers are in fourth place in the Western Conference with a 34-16 record.

The Miami Heat are 28-24 and in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
