Taylor Swift may be accidentally summoning demons by performing “witchcraft” during her record-breaking concerts, an exorcist has warned.

While performing her hit song Willow, the 34-year-old pop megastar and her dancers all dress in black capes and perform a dance surrounded by orbs. The act has sparked concern for one bishop, Father Dan Reehil, who also performs exorcisms.

Reehil has fears that the concert segment could spiritually endanger fans and the wider world. He said: “Even if her intent was not to practise any witchcraft or do any of the incantations, she is probably attracting a lot of demons to her concerts.”

The religious figure noted his concerns for Miss Swift’s fanbase, a majority of which is made up of young girls ranging from children to teenagers. He addressed the matter and the “danger” they may be put in while in attendance at one of Taylor’s live concerts.

Father Reehil, who resides in Nashville in the U.S., also explained: “That’s where the problem can lie, because then you have these little girls who literally sort of worship [Taylor Swift], who are now putting themselves in a position where they could be attacked by demonic forces.”

To conclude his statement, Reehil urged fans to think twice about going along to one of the singer’s sell out arena events and even went so far as to “skip” Taylor’s in-person performances altogether.

He warned: “I would say don’t do it. Skip the concert.” His comments come as Taylor has been propelled into the spotlight due to her smash hit Eras tour and recent relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

Taylor has been spotted at a number of Chiefs games to support her new beau and the pair were even seen sharing a smooch as the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve. Swift’s attendance at the American football games have been noted by her fans, many of whom have purchased tickets in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the star in the flesh – including the recently released Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
