Coach Prime’s impact extends beyond the football field. His mission is not just about winning games; it’s about winning in life.
This is why he has embraced the role of an inspiring mentor on social media. Recently, a situation arose that could have brought out the worst in him, but instead, it showcased his unwavering positive mindset.
Deion Sanders’ pride lies in his children, particularly his youngest son, Shedeur Sanders. Shedeur is the highest college football earner and a projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. When a derogatory comment was made about Shedeur online, it could have sparked an angry response. However, Coach Prime chose a different path. He responded with grace, saying, “And your son is Awesome. I pray for your kids and I wish them very best.”
Deion Sanders follows up the hate with a message of positivity
Following the recent hate received from critics on his IG, he remained firm in his positivity, earning him appreciation from fans. This time, he took to X to post about staying positive in the face of bad things. Deion Sanders wrote, “Please Stay Positive in this day of NEGATIVITY… Let Love be our language today please. Let’s go.”
Deion Sanders posed his opinion on how people can wake up with negative emotions. As the way of the world is, everyone is facing different battles and fighting their own demons that the bad overrides the good and clouds our senses of reasoning. However, Coach Prime requests his followers to have some love and kindness and not be hateful, like the negative comments pouring in each day. And while he maintains positivity through it all, he also doesn’t hold himself back when some lessons need to be taught.
Deion Sanders slams his players for disrespectful demeanor in class
As an advocate of discipline, Coach Prime isn’t going to stay silent when a CU professor emails him that his players are being disrespectful in class. Well Off Media captured the scene during the Buffs meeting with Deion Sanders reprimanding them, saying, “You on the field, but you ain’t doing nothing. You in a relationship but you ain’t got no love. You at the mall but you ain’t got no money. Got a lot of ability but no darn talent.”
The complaint was that a professor said Deion Sanders’ players were “present but not really in class” as they distracted others. He ended his speech with a major takeaway, “You gonna get something out of this. You gonna be a man or you’re going to be a great football player. Since you choose not to be a great football player, we gotta make you men.”
Hopefully, the players will carry the disciplinary message to heart and be more careful in the future.
