Deion Sanders’ headache: Coach Prime’s feelings for Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter put Colorado football in crisis. ttmd

The spring transfer portal has been quite heavy on Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

Amidst such a tense environment, Coach Prime has been called out for being too protective about his quarterback son, Shedeur Sanders and wide receiver, Travis Hunter. In the latest YouTube podcast “Crain & Company”, the host got all real calling the present situation of the Buffaloes to be a “death sentence in sport”.

Meanwhile, Deion Sanders has taken up the guide’s role dictating the Shedeur and Hunter’s next destination. At the same time, the program suffered a huge blow with only 14 players left and a weak offensive line.

Crain’s analysis of the present situation at Boulder

Lately, there has been a mass exodus in the Buffs roster. With 14 players moving out of Sanders’ program, the situation does not look to be positive in Boulder. However, the Colorado HC have downplayed the fact that it is going to have an impact on them. Taking this up, host Blain Crain stated, “You’re no longer the cool kid at school and you’re now really the hunted after only winning those said four games and after all the talk Now’s the Time to either put up or shut up”. He further elaborated on the present situation, “As good as Shedeur and Shilo and Travis Hunter are the Buffs are still going to be bad upfront and that is a death sentence in this sport at every level now”.

Among the players who have made out of the Buffs family and hit the transfer portal is Cormani McClain. This action too speaks millions about Sanders being affectionate towards his Shedeur and Hunter. Even though the Buffs wide receiver has been suffering from injury, Sanders decided to keep McClain off the field. Now he personally chooses the next destination for his favorite players in the NFL.

Deion Sanders’ protective guard for Shedeur

The Buffs HC raised to negative light during his appearance on “Million Dollarz Worth of Game” on March 22. Talking about Shedeur and his two-way star, Hunter, he openly placed his opinion, “I know where I want them to go. So, it’s certain cities that ain’t going to happen. It’s going to be an Eli.”

Earlier too, Deion Sanders came up as a caring father sharing his concern about how it would be difficult for Shedeur to adjust in a location that is known for its cold temperature. According to Coach Prime, “Like, I don’t want my kid [Shedeur] going nowhere cold next year. He grew up in Texas. He played in Jackson [Miss.], played in Colorado. Season’s over before it gets cold in Colorado. I’m just thinking way ahead. I don’t want that for him.”

Apart from this, even though Shedeur was the second-most sacked quarterback in Power Five last season, his father tried everything to protect him and made according changes in the offensive line play. Having a historically bad offensive line and now that Deion Sanders has lost some of the valuable talents to the transfer portal it truly appears as a death statement for the Buffs.
