Police collecting information from Diddy's ex-partner Cassie amid sex trafficking allegations

Cassie, the ex-partner of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has reportedly been aiding federal investigators in a s.e.x trafficking probe into the rapper. This collaboration suggests Cassie may possess crucial information regarding recent raids on Combs‘ properties in LA and Miami, with further searches anticipated in New York and Chicago.

Alongside Cassie, several other unnamed women are reportedly assisting in the investigation, providing potentially significant testimonies.

Cassie publicly accused Combs of abuse and rape during their relationship, revealing details of alleged traumatic experiences dating back to 2005.

She also accused him of coercing her into consuming drugs and alcohol, orchestrating sexual encounters with male prostitutes while filming them and vandalizing Kid Cudi‘s car upon learning of the rapper’s romantic interest in her.

Denying allegations

These accusations surfaced in November, prompting a lawsuit settlement between the two shortly thereafter. Despite vehemently denying the allegations, Combs finds himself under scrutiny amid this ongoing investigation.

His attorney has criticized the authorities’ tactics, characterizing the investigation as a “witch hunt.” While Combs has cooperated with authorities and remains unarrested or charged, the situation casts a shadow over the renowned hip-hop mogul’s reputation.

“This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” Aaron Dyer said.

“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
