“Cries All Day Like a B**ch”: Hollywood Mogul Targets Shannon Sharpe With Blunt Analogy for His Wild Antics

Shannon Sharpe consistently makes the news through bizarre comments or revealing interviews. In his 14 years in the NFL, he has amassed over 10,000 receiving yards and is widely considered one of the greatest tight ends in the game.

Following his retirement, he remained devoted to sports by becoming a commentator for CBS Sports and later joining Skip Bayless in FS1’s sports debate show Undisputed. He also hosts the Club Shay Shay podcast. However, after his recent viral video regarding his outfit choice and walk, he became a meme sensation when he was called out by the founder of Hollywood Unlocked, Jason Lee.

Jason Lee trolls Shannon Sharpe for his viral video

In his Funky Friday YouTube appearance on Cam Newton, the host of Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee took a savage dig at Sharpe. He took the upper hand in the media and said, “There’s no competition because there’s nobody doing what we do in your world… Not even Shannon Sharpe… [He’ll] never be able to recover from the fact that he had one of the most viral videos in history but then sits online and cries all day like a b**ch.”

The 46-year-old entertainment businessman continued, “You got out of the car with that green outfit on. I didn’t tell you to get out built like that.” Jason Lee refers to Shannon Sharpe’s TikTok video in March, which went viral when he visited a wine store to get an update on his luxury cognac, Shay by Le Portier. What turned that incident into a meme is him wearing a tight green outfit and his feminine walk with several people turning his video into a parody. Even so, Sharpe remains unfazed by this incident and continues living as if nothing happened.

Donnell Rawlings defended Shannon Sharpe’s incident with a subtle roast

Shannon Sharpe didn’t make any comment on the viral memes or that he became the butt of the joke. But his fans came to his rescue and claimed that the retired NFL TE walks the way he does because of multiple hip, knee, and ankle surgeries over his playing career. Among his defenders was comedian and actor Donnell Rawlings, who said, “First of all, leave Shannon Sharpe alone. Shannon Sharpe is a retired Hall of Fame NFL player. And everybody know if you’ve been in the league over 15 years, you’re gonna have knee issues.”

The funnyman then went on to take a casual dig at Sharpe saying, “Shannon Sharpe is making a fashion statement. I don’t know if this sweatsuit is from Fashion Nova.”  He further threw a subtle shade at the 3x Super Bowl champion saying, “Shannon I’m gonna tell you this and I love you. But you’re the only person that should sit on his own couch at the Shay Shay room.” He even took the time to impersonate his gait. But we have to love Shannon Sharpe for the interesting content that he gives to his fans, whether it be through his comments or his walk!
