Shedeur Sanders has found himself in hot water once again! Recently, Shedeur uploaded a vlog of himself attending his class at CU on his YouTube channel. The move came shortly after Coach Prime addressed the team for their disrespectful behavior in class. Shеdеur appеarеd particularly drawn to chеmistry among his othеr subjеcts. As thе sеssion focused on thе intriguing topic of thе Combustion of Hydrocarbons, Shеdеur еxprеssеd his еnthusiasm after thе class. “It was grеat, man. Chеmistry class is fun, bro,” he Shеdеur.
Although Shedeur aimed to showcase his obedience towards his father and professor, his actions sparked controversy, with former football coach Jason Brown accusing him of using the video as a publicity stunt and disrespecting Coach Prime in the process.
In the latest episode of The Coach JB Show with Big Smitty podcast, JB addressed the issue and questioned Shedeur’s decision to post the video. “Why would you post that on your YouTube channel after the video of your father addressing the team about bad classroom behavior?” asked Brown.

That is the problem that I have with the quarterback as the leader and quarterback, and then that’s your dad. To me, it just puts more pressure on your dad as the head coach,” JB remarked. Contrary to JB’s belief, Coach Prime must be proud of Shedeur’s efforts to assimilate into campus life beyond football.
Coach Primе’s concerns for Shеdеur’s collеgе lifе
Earlier in an interview with the Bret Boone Podcast, Deion Sanders expressed concerns about student-athletes’ evolution in the modern era. Reflecting on his experience as a student-athlete at FSU, Coach Prime expressed concern that Shedeur may be missing out on the traditional college experience of being on campus and fostering relationships with fellow students.
“Missing the best part of college to walk around, be on campus, build an atmosphere, build relationships on campus with other students outside of football… I don’t even know if Shedeur has ever taken a class on campus in his college career,” said Coach Prime.
Having previously attended Trinity Christian School, Shedeur’s academic and athletic foundation was nurtured in an environment known for its rigorous curriculum. With a consistently high GPA, Shedeur demonstrated his commitment to both academics and football.
Now at CU, Shedeur faces the challenge of managing newfound attention from peers while balancing academic responsibilities and football commitments. This transition will test his ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
