(MY) Brandon Ingram helped off the court with a scary knee injury

Ingram’s knee collapsed after inadvertently placing his left leg on the floor. The player was helped off the court by the Pelicans medical staff. The seriousness of the injury is currently unknown.

On top of losing the game against the Orlando Magic, the New Orleans Pelicans lost one of the their leaders.

Brandon Ingram severely injured his knee and was helped off the court at the beginning of the third quarter.

Ingram was defending the drive by Orlando’s Jalen Suggs when he inadvertently placed his left leg on the floor. His entire left knee collapsed, and Ingram immediately went down.

The Pelicans forward left the court helped by the team’s medical staff. The seriousness of the injury is currently unknown but it seems Ingram will miss at least several games.

Before exiting the contest early, Ingram had scored 14 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists in 21 minutes.

Ingram is averaging 20.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game this season. With 42 wins and 27 losses, the Pelicans are currently 5th in the Western Conference.
