(MY) Colorado Buffaloes Women’s Soccer Team Teaches Shedeur Sanders and Co. a Valuable Lesson on Accountability

Sometimes, when things are not going to plan internally, external forces are required.

And that’s exactly what Deion Sanders is doing in an attempt to teach Shedeur Sanders and co. a thing or two about being responsible and accountable. And while it’s not really external forces, there’s always something to learn from players from another sport.

If not everyone, Deion Sanders knows best that success sparks from holding oneself responsible. After teaching the Buffs the whole season about accountability, the 56-year-old HC wasn’t happy when he had to unleash his fury on the spring training session. Perhaps, this lesson is what is needed to open the eyes of the Buffs football team as they go full-swing into practice.

Deion Sanders enlightens the Buffs football team through women’s soccer team

Deion Sanders recently brought some players from the Colorado Buffaloes women’s soccer team to teach Shedeur Sanders and his football team a lesson on accountability. The Well Off Media captured the scene where Coach Prime asked a question to the three players about what punishment they get or how they’re held accountable if they’re late to class or practice.

To which the 3 players from the women’s team exclaimed, “It doesn’t happen,” meaning that they don’t get into such irresponsible scenarios where they get late and get punished for it.

The girls went on to elaborate on the teamwork app, where they get all their schedules and timings to know where to be and what time to be there. They said, “A 5-year-old could do it.” Furthermore, when Coach Prime asked them what they would rather be doing in the study hall, the soccer players replied, “Study.” This is the discipline that they hold, and Deion Sanders wants his team to learn from their accountability after his rough day on their first day of spring training.

Deion Sanders loses his cool on first day of spring training

Every once in a while, a fiery outburst is expected from everyone, especially when you’re coaching a bunch of college kids, some of whom need more guidance and direction. The same happened with Deion Sanders when he yelled at a player during their first spring practice session. He pointed at the player and roared, “You don’t know what to do. Yes, you!… Do you know your responsibility? What I got to tell you?

As far as the off-season practice went, Deion Sanders had been emphasizing on the players holding themselves accountable. And we can’t blame him for letting out his fury after repeated coaxing and gentle talking. But putting aside this ugly scene, the Buffs went on to leave a good first impression as the coaches of different positions feel optimistic about their training.
