(MY) DeMar Derozan and Dillon Brooks ejected after a scuffle in Houston
DeRozan committed a hard foul against Jalen Green. Unhappy with the action, Dillon Brooks started a conflict with DeRozan. Both DeRozan and Brooks were ejected.

A scuffle broke out during the game between the Chicago Bulls and the Houston Rockets.
With 6:02 remaining in the third quarter, Chicago’s DeMar DeRozan made a hard foul against Houston’s Jalen Green. With Green on the floor, his teammate Dillon Brooks approached DeRozan, and a verbal conflict began.
As both Brooks and DeRozan were getting into each other’s faces, the teammates of the two players joined in, wanting to separate the players. Several security guards were involved in the process, and one of them fell to the ground alongside Brooks.
After the tensions calmed down, DeRozan was issued a flagrant 2 foul, which warrants an automatic ejection. Following a review of the episode, Brooks was ejected with a technical foul.
Only DeRozan and Brooks were penalized, as other players were determined to have only been there to de-escalate the situation.
“DeRozan was assessed a Flagrant Foul penalty 2 because the contact was excessive and unnecessary,” Crew Chief Curtis Blair said in the Pool Report after the game.
“Brooks escalated the situation, therefore he was given a technical foul and ejected,” Blair explained.
