Gavin Rossdale ‘left Gwen Stefani in hospital to sleep with nanny’ after she gave birth to son Apollo

New reports are suggesting that Gavin Rossdale left wife Gwen Stefani in hospital after she had just given birth so he could sleep with the couple’s nanny.

A source told Access Hollywood that the Bush rocker abandoned Gwen, 46, after the arrival of their third son, Apollo, in February last year to hook-up with 20-something Mindy Mann.

It follows reports that the musician had a three-year affair with the child minder, causing Gwen to call time on their marriage in a split which the singer has described as ‘unexpected.’

It gets worse: New reports allege that Gavin Rossdale left wife Gwen Stefani in hospital so he could sleep with the couple’s nanny Mindy Mann (pictured in 2012) – who he is accused of having a three-year affair with.

Daily Mail Online has contacted reps for Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani seeking comment.

The insider also alleges that Gavin, 50, would bring his three kids to see him while he was on the road, and that the duo would have sex on the tour bus after the children fell asleep.

This supposedly happened while the No Doubt front woman filmed NBC show The Voice.

Meanwhile photographs posted on Facebook by Mindy, show the 20-something posing in a series of creepy poses strikingly similar to her superstar boss Gwen.

Secrets: The source also alleges that Gavin, 50, would have Mindy bring the boys to him while he was on tour and have sex with the nanny on the tour bus when the children were asleep.

Wearing lookalike black rimmed glasses, a bandana in her platinum hair and striking a pose with seven-year-old Zuma, the Australian caretaker of the now ex-couple’s three children matched up to photos of her superstar boss.

The new issue of Us Weekly claims the Bush rocker initially denied having an affair with the child minder when he was caught out.

It’s claimed that one of their nannies discovered messages and nude photos on the family’s iPad and informed Gwen – something that a friend of Mindy’s has gone on to deny.

Mann, who began working for rock Power Couple as a fill-in and then became full-time, began dressing in a similar way to Gwen.

Gwen Stefani recently revealed her split from husband of 13 years Gavin Rossdale was completely ‘unexpected’.

It has now been alleged that Gavin was cheating on the No Doubt singer for three years with their family nanny Mindy Mann, who was charged with looking after their three sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and Apollo, 20 months.

Gavin, 50, is said to have initially brushed the messages off as ‘flirtation’, before allegedly confessing to adultery months later, the magazine reports. It ‘completely devastated her,’ a source told Us. ‘She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed.’

The supposed liaison is alleged to have lasted for more than three years, including the period when Gwen was pregnant with their youngest child Apollo.

A source added: ‘This was done right under Gwen’s nose.’

According to the publication, the singer confronted her husband about his affair on February 9 this year.

When he confessed, she knew their marriage was over.

The magazine details that The Australian sent Gavin several nude photos of herself, and the texts also included arrangements for her and Gavin to meet up and have sex.

Speaking to KIIS FM on Thursday on Thursday, a friend of Mindy’s known as Jess, dismissed the affair as ‘absolute garbage’.

In defense of the nanny, Jess said: ‘I know that she definitely wasn’t [sending explicit messages].’

For Gwen, it was apparently not just the affair that broke her, but also the fact her husband had been having it with a woman she knew and trusted, who looked after their children.

Mindy was fired as soon as the singer had confronted her husband.

Gwen first employed the nanny back in 2008 – she started working with the family as a fill in and then became permanent.

The blonde seemed delighted to be in the couple’s household – according to a family source, she ‘began to post pictures on social media dressed in a similar way to Gwen’.

In 2012, pictures emerged of Mindy and Gavin on a hike together – he was seen touching her backside as they walked.

Gwen was understandably upset by the images – a source told the magazine her suspicions were aroused.

Meanwhile insiders in Gavin’s circle explained away the seemingly intimate gesture by telling the press the girl in the photos was the rocker’s sister – Soraya.

However it was Mindy – and she and Gavin were already allegedly in the throes of an affair.

Friends and those close to Gwen tried to be discreet – but it was apparently obvious that Mindy and the Bush frontman were more than just employer and employee.

Gwen, who has a strong Catholic faith, was determined to keep her marriage together for the sake of her children, and also because she did not believe in divorce.

It wasn’t until the blonde singer discovered the text messages and photos, that she had proof she couldn’t ignore.
