For years, Randi Mahomes has been the pillar of strength for the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his brother Jackson.

However, recently she vented out her feelings after both her sons have ventured on their paths. And she is unable to care for them!

Randi was merely 20 when she got pregnant with her eldest son Patrick. Her life for many years revolved around caring for him and then his brother Jackson as well. But now that both of them have moved out, she misses the care they needed earlier on.

Randi’s empty nest without her children

Patrick has gone on to become one of the biggest superstars in American sports. Jackson has forged his path of being a successful social media influencer. On ‘Got It From My Momma Podcast’ Randi reveals how things have changed in her life. “With Patrick … it all happened so fast”, she added regarding her eldest son.

“They don’t need me anymore! Between Patrick and Jackson, like money wise, they don’t need me. You know at one point they still needed me”, said Mama Mahomes, reminiscing about the old days. She talks about how the siblings still needed her help while they were in college. But not anymore.

Randi still has one child at home. Her daughter and Patrick’s half-sister Mia. She’s 13 and Randi still has a few years before she moves out. “Thankfully, I have Mia”, said Randi with a big smile. So how is the relationship between Patrick and his mother now?

Patrick Mahomes adores his mother

Both the Mahomes siblings are fond of their mother. And Randi can be found at various events and games cheering for her son and the Chiefs. “We just kind of keep our connection”, said Randi before this year’s massive Super Bowl game in Las Vegas.

Patrick is known for texting his mother all the details of his routine. And Randi ensures to text him back despite still working as an event planner for the Hollytree Country Club in Texas. While both her sons live in Kansas City, Missouri. But they get plenty of face time when Patrick’s playing!

All in all, the Mahomes siblings are making a mark in their respective fields, and Mama Mahomes does her best to support them. However, it seems she sometimes feels that they grew up too fast, just like every parent out there.
