Rare incident: The flight attendant was tricked into thinking the passenger was Snoop Dogg

An American flight attendant is being rinsed after she mistook one of her passengers for rap legend Snoop Dogg and posed for pictures.

Chrissy Lofton, a stewardess for Southwest Airlines, was so excited to see the Drop It Like Its Hot icon among those boarding her flight to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She got the courage up to say hello and comment on how tall he was as she asked for pictures, completely oblivious to the fact it wasn’t multi-millionaire Snoop at all.

The moment was captured on video by the Snoop Dogg look-alike’s cousin, Timothy Graham, who was in utter disbelief at the mistaken identity.

Chrissy said: ‘You make me feel so short!’ before wrapping her arms around ‘Snoop Dogg’ and posing for snaps.

Totally convinced she had met the 52-year-old icon, she later posted the images on Instagram and wrote: ‘I had Snoop Dogg on my flight into Fort Lauderdale today. He is the sweetest.’

While we’re sure the actual Snoop – real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. – is also ‘the sweetest’, it wasn’t until the comments began rolling in that Chrissy realised her error.

‘Chrissy sit down I gotta tell you something…’ commented Dwynell Roland while Raegene Denise wrote: ‘Lol the pic is cute but it’s not Snoop Chrissy ♥️.’

Quickly comparisons were drawn between Crhissy and Martha Stewart, a friend of Snoop’s, with commenters calling them ‘Snoop and Martha from Shein.’

‘Bull Dogg & Martha Soupwart,’ came one comparison as Jadon Vilfort added: ‘Naww aunty that’s his hood brother snoop dugg😭.’

Not-Snoop’s cousin captioned the viral video: ‘Man these people be taking pics with my cuzin because they say he look like Snoop Dog.’

Timothy then admitted he had leaned into the mistaken identity and ‘instigated’ the interaction for his own entertainment.

The clip even made its way to the man himself, the real Snoop Dogg, who shared it with some laughing emojis.

The Young, Wild & Free rapper was up to his own tomfoolery not too long ago as he tricked the internet into thinking he was ditching weed.

Snoop has become synonymous with joints so his announcement came as quite a shock to the world – but it wasn’t what it seemed.

After stating that he would no longer be partaking, the entire thing turned out to be a huge stunt for Solo Stove, to promote the brand’s smokeless fire pits.

He has revealed that over the past few years, he has taken steps to reduce his daily intake after his family voiced their concerns over this health.
