Travis Kelce and his brother Jason are barely recognisable in the cutest throwback snaps for National Siblings Day, as the Kansas City Chiefs icon Travis Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champ, took to social media with a heartwarming collection of childhood memories to show his affection for his big bro, who hung up his NFL boots after 13 seasons when the Philadelphia Eagles bowed out to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year.
The nostalgic TikTok by Travis Kelce, set to “Family” by Kygo and The Chainsmokers, kicks off with an adorable photo of the siblings kitted out in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles onesies before moving on to footage of them playfully wrestling each other.
As the video unfolds, we see the Kelce brothers mature, even facing off as they did in the 2022 Super Bowl where the Chiefs triumphed over the Eagles in a touching match-up.
Their unbreakable bond was evident during this year’s playoffs, with Jason wholeheartedly backing his little bro and the Chiefs on their journey to clinching the Super Bowl title again in Las Vegas with a nail-biting 25-22 overtime victory.
Jason made sure he was part of the festivities, from his topless shenanigans at the Buffalo Bills game to donning a luchador mask at the Chiefs’ post-Super Bowl bash, all while his sibling basked in the glow of his blossoming romance with none other than Taylor Swift.
Jason Kelce was a rock for his brother Travis during the latter’s tumultuous college years, which saw him ousted from the team for marijuana use. Jason not only stood by Travis but also played a crucial role in his journey to the NFL, as coach Andy Reid, who had previously drafted Jason at the Eagles, welcomed another Kelce to the league with the Chiefs.
Travis has openly expressed his admiration for his brother, saying: “Jason and I have actually been playing football together since we were little kids and he was always better than me – at everything,” He recounted their past, “In high school, he was an honor student and I got kicked off the team because I failed French. And then, when we were in college, I actually got kicked off the team because I tested positive for marijuana.”

Last year, Travis expressed his admiration, saying, “I love you, you’re the only reason I wear 87,” and added, “I never told you that, man. You started the legacy. If there is a Kelce legacy [of] two brothers making it to the NFL, it all started in 1987 because this big guy was born in 1987.”

Jason has praised Travis’s infectious enthusiasm for life, telling E! in September 2023, “Travis just has such a zest and virality for life,” He continued, “My daughters, they’re so drawn to him immediately – partly because he’s gorgeous, but then also he’s just a fun human being. He’s exciting. He has energy for days. He’ll get down on the floor and he’ll crawl into a dollhouse. He does whatever they want.”
