WBNA star Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery have been in a relationship since last summer and it seems they are very much in love.

Both of them starred in college sports in Iowa and are now moving on, with Clark the main attraction at this week’s WNBA Draft and McCaffery now working with the Indiana Pacers.

The pair started to date each other last year. It was Clark who made their relationship public last August when she posted a photo with McCaffery on a boat on her Instagram feed.

“Best end to summer,” was the message she wrote in the caption.

There have been various messages posted on social media by the pair since, suggesting their relationship is the real deal.

McCaffery posted a birthday message to Clark on Instagram when she turned 22 in January.

“Happy Birthday 22. Wish I was there to celebrate with you – you deserve the best day. Golden Bday/T Swift year will be the best yet,” he wrote.

“With all that you’ve already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you.”

Clark responded to the message, joking, “Acting like u a T swift fan tho is crazy, but I will let this slide hehe.”

Connor played basketball for the University of Iowa. He was a four-star recruit.

He landed his first job in professional sports after graduating from the University of Iowa last year.

However, there’s no doubt who the real star is in this relationship.

Clark has become a household name and is widely credited for being the reason behind the enormous, unprecedented, interest in the recent women’s tournament at March Madness.

Despite her brilliance, as she became the highest-scoring player in NCAA history, the Hawkeyes lost the title game to the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Her career seems set to go from strength to strength and she was selected by the Indiana Fever as the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft in Brooklyn, New York, on Monday night.

“I can’t wait, I’m excited,” she told reporters.

“This is the most competitive league in the entire world, less than 144 spots. So you better bring it every single night.”

McCaffery responded on social media with three emojis to the outfit she wore, with one of them being a hand over the mouth.

The pair then enjoyed cocktails together on what appeared to be a long night of celebrations in New York City.
