Lawrence set for a big summer
While the bikini has fans turning heads on social media, the summer will also be a big one on screen for the Kentucky native.
Lawrence recently celebrated the premiere and release of her latest film, ‘No Hard Feelings’- a raunchy R-rated comedy – on June 23.
The film reached the $50 million mark worldwide in just the first two weeks of its global release.
It’s expected to become the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy since ‘Good Boys’ back in 2019, which was also directed by Gene Stupnitsky.
The film sees Lawrence play a bartender who drives Ubers part-time to make ends meet. She is desperate to make money in order to keep her late mother’s home.
After her car is towed, she responds to a Craiglist ad from parents who offer her a car if she will date their 19-year-old son before he goes to college.
However, the son – played by Andrew Barth Feldman – proves to be more of a challenge than she first anticipated.
