DALLAS Mavericks star Kyrie Irving will receive a sum of money thanks to a secret clause in his already lucrative contract.

The 32-year-old point guard can earn himself some money if the Mavericks can win one more NBA regular-season game, as well as another requirement.

The Mavericks have a 49-30 record with three games to go in the season.

They’ve already claimed a playoff berth, but one of their star players has a pay day on the line.

It was revealed by NBA reporter Marc Stein that Irving can receive a $1 million bonus if the Mavericks win one of their last three games and if the 2016 NBA champion plays in one of those games.

The secret incentive package was part of Irving’s three-year, $120 million contract he signed with the Mavericks last July.

If the eight-time NBA All-Star Irving plays against the Miami Heat on Wednesday, it would mark his 58th appearance this season.

And the Mavericks’ potential next win of the season would be their 50th.

Irving missed 12 games in December after fellow teammate Dwight Powell fell on him.

He also had a spraint right thumb which led to a six-game absence.

In 57 games, Irving has averaged 25.6 points.

He’s second on the team behind superstar Luka Doncic who has averaged 33.9 points.

Irving has averaged 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

The 32-year-old has played in 30 straight games, his most since 2016.

The Mavericks have been 23-7 during that span.

Irving is expected to play against the Heat on Wednesday night.

Dallas can clinch the Southwest Division with a win against Miami.

The Mavericks lead the New Orleans Pelicans (47-32) by two games with three left in the regular season.

If Dallas doesn’t win Wednesday’s contest, then the team has games against the Detroit Pistons and the Oklahoma City Thunder to attempt a victory.

The Mavericks have 15 of their last 17 games.
