NBA legend Kobe Bryant has left a legacy that will be remembered by millions of basketball fans worldwide. He has served as an icon to countless young kids dreaming of becoming an NBA star in the future and popular star Kobe Bryant’s son is one of them.
Recently Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s son, Saint West, participated in a game at Mamba Sports Academy in Los Angeles. Kim Kardashian posted videos on her Instagram story featuring her son. In the video, Saint could be seen hitting a game-winning buzzer-beater to secure the win for his team.
The more exciting part about it all was the shoes Saint wore while playing the game. Kim posted the image of the Nike Kobe 6s as well. On the sole of the boots was written “Mini Kobe,” which was a restatement of the young kid’s love for the late Lakers star. Kobe has inspired a lot of people with his illustrious career, and kids of celebrities are no exception. They see the late star as their icon and want to follow in his footsteps with dreams of carving a career same as him.
Nike to release new Kobe Bryant Shoes to honor his Philadelphia roots
The Sports Giant Nike recently revealed that they would release a new shoe under the Kobe Bryant lineup. These new sneakers would focus on Kobe’s Philadelphia roots and connection with the city. The shoes reportedly are scheduled for “Mamba Day” and will stay true to the 2009 design of the Kobe lineup of Nike sneakers.
The sneakers are named Kobe 4 Protro “Philly” and would be listed for $190, however, the high anticipation of the sneakers has raised the price of the item to a much higher value. Some retail sites have it listed for over $1000 as well. It is understandable given the legacy of Kobe Bryant and what he meant to the fans and basketball as a whole.
