Dakota Johnson, best known for her role in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” has made a surprising revelation about her latest movie “Madame Web.” In an interview with MagicFM, Johnson admitted that she has no plans to watch the movie, citing her dislike for watching her own work.

“It’s not specifically about ‘Madame Web,’ I actually don’t like watching my own movies,” Johnson explained. “For me, it’s a way to not have an existential crisis. Not watching my movies is like taking care of myself.”

Johnson is not alone in this approach. Other high-profile actors and actresses, including Meryl Streep, Adam Driver, Emma Stone, and Nicole Kidman have also admitted to avoiding watching their own projects.

Dakota Johnson Makes Surprising Admission About Madame Web

“Madame Web,” which stars Johnson as a clairvoyant paramedic, is part of the Sony Pictures film series that includes the “Venom” films and the upcoming “Morbius” starring Jared Leto. However, early reviews for “Madame Web” have been less than enthusiastic, with a mere 13% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Despite her reluctance to watch her own work, Johnson knows the answer to the question, “Do you Google your own name?”

“No! God no,” Johnson said. “My God, no.”

As for when she’ll eventually watch “Madame Web,” Johnson remains undecided. But for now, it seems she’s content with taking a break from her own performances.
