‘We drank a lot’: Anne Hathaway reveals how hosting her family over the holidays lead to the creation of ‘chardonogg’

Anne Hathaway revealed during a chat show appearance on Monday that her family invented a new drink over the holidays called ‘chardonogg’.
The 32-year-old Oscar-winning actress made the revelation during a visit to the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in Los Angeles.

The Interstellar star rocked a little black dress that showed her lean legs during her chat show appearance.

‘We had a fabulous time. We all cook together. We drank a lot together,’ she said.

The brunette beauty also shared the best part of the holiday.

‘We invented the most disgusting drink known to man. It makes me a little nauseous to think about it. Chardonogg,’ she said.

The combination of chardonnay and eggnog was an imaginary concoction but her family nevertheless considered a Bethenny Frankel version called Skinny Girl Chardonogg and a vegan option called ‘chardo-soy-nogg’.

Anne was on the chat show promoting her upcoming drama Song One due out in limited release and on demand on January 23.

She plays a young archaeologist who returns home from a dig to see her injured comatose brother and strikes up a relationship with his favourite musician.

Anne said the film also marked her debut as a producer along with several others including The Silence Of The Lambs director Jonathan Demme.

‘My producer [role] just mothers everybody. I made sure the crew got a nice buzz on Fridays, not chardonogg,’ she quipped.
