Brad Pitt Allegedly Pressures Angelina Jolie To Settle Their Divorce As He Wants To Marry New Girlfriend

Now that Ines de Ramon has finalized her divorce from Paul Wesley, it appears Brad Pitt is pushing to settle his long-time proceedings with Angelina Jolie.

According to Us Weekly, the exes are closer than ever to finalizing their divorce.

Despite being declared legally single years ago, Brad and Angelina continued to fight over custody of their six children, only three of which remains minors.

But the report says the pair may be reaching an agreement at long last.

Brad Allegedly Agreed To Give Angelina Primary Custody

“The negotiation process was agonizing, but the financial docs were filed in the last couple of weeks,” a source alleged. “Brad just wants to move on with his life, and this final step symbolizes relief and a definitive end to their relationship.”

Apparently, Brad ceded to Angelina’s request for primary custody of their three youngest kids, though he’s not “thrilled” over the arrangement. “[He] agreed because it wasn’t as bad as Angie [getting] full custody like she wanted,” the insider went on.

The report also said that Brad believes settling the custody battle was in the best interest of their kids. “it’s disappointing that he doesn’t see the kids,” the source said, noting Brad’s relationship with them is still strained.

“He wishes their relationship was stronger and wants to work on that,” they added.

Reports of Brad’s poor relationship have circulated for years since Angelina filed for divorce in2 015 following an alleged incident on a private plane where Brad became physically aggressive with her and some of their kids. The FBI even launched an investigation into what happened, though Brad was later cleared of wrongdoing.

Not only do reports claim that Brad doesn’t see his kids often, but some of his children appear estranged. A Father’s Day post allegedly written by his son Pax, which was exposed last year, slammed the actor for being an absentee parent. Equally telling, his daughter Zahara seemed to drop his last name after attending college, opting only to go by Jolie instead.

Brad Reportedly Wants Kids With His Girlfriend

Brad has been careful not to comment on the situation with his children, but reports say that the actor is open to expanding his family further with his current girlfriend. The couple are also reportedly thinking about marriage, though he’s not even legally single yet, and Ines just settled her own divorce.

“Brad and Ines are smitten with each other and she recently moved into his Los Feliz mansion, proving how serious they are,” a source told Closer Magazine. “He’s known from the outset that Ines wants to become a mum and that’s something they discussed very early on, given their 30-year age gap.”

Though Ines was apparently “surprised” by Brad’s “willingness to become a dad again […] he insisted it was something he very much wants too.”

“After everything he’s been through with his children, he’s keen to make a fresh start and create new memories,” they went on. “Brad’s not getting any younger, so it’s something they would like sooner rather than later. He’s even joked about doing the school run in his 70s and hopes that he’ll still be seen as a heartthrob!”

With Brad’s divorce from Angelina nearing an end, perhaps he is thinking about the future and what his family could look like.
