NBA fans are certain that the Los Angeles Lakers-New Orleans play-in tournament game on Tuesday night was fixed, despite circumstances going against LeBron James.

The Lakers secured a playoff berth on the road after beating the Pelicans 110-106.

LeBron did more than enough in the game, scoring 23 points while adding nine assists and nine rebounds.

His fellow star teammate Anthony Davis finished with 20 points and 15 rebounds.

The Lakers also put together an impressive second quarter, outscoring the Pelicans’ 34-16.

It would be enough despite the Pelicans outscoring the Lakers by six points in the second half.

And unfortunately for New Orleans, they lost star power forward Zion Williamson in the final minutes of the game.

He had a dominating performance, scoring 40 points and adding 11 rebounds and five assists.

The Lakers’ win gives them a guaranteed spot in the playoffs.

However, they will now have to face the defending Denver Nuggets in the first round.

Los Angeles was swept by the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals last season.

The Lakers had the chance of facing the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder – the youngest team in the league – if they lost to the Pelicans and beat the Sacramento Kings in the play-in game on Friday.

Still, NBA fans believe that the NBA “rigged” Tuesday’s game for LeBron and the Lakers.

“The @NBA showed they are rigged in the Lakers game,” one fan stated.

“Rigged a** league the NBA is a joke for the Lakers,” another fan wrote.

“NBA only makes calls for the Lakers… rigged,” said a third fan.

Fans were alluding to the Lakers attempting 14 more free throw attempts.

The Pelicans scored 62 points in the paint compared to Los Angeles’ 36.

New Orleans will host the Kings on Friday night.

The Lakers will enter their first-round playoff matchup having won 12 of their last 15 games.
