Actress Tara Reid Reveals All New Details About Her ‘On and Off’ Relationship With Tom Brady: “He’s So Cocky Now”
Not many people had a clue that Tom Brady once dated a world-renowned actress.
Tara Reid gave insight into her old fling with Tom Brady in a new interview with Bustle. Reid looked back on her brief relationship with the football star, tabloid culture, and what she hopes is next for her career.
The American Pie actress recalled seeing the former NFL player “on and off” before she got engaged to now-ex Carson Daly.
“It was nothing serious, but it was fun,” Reid said of Brady.
“We’d go to beer places and have fun and dance. He was cool.”
“He’s all skinny now. He’s so serious. He used to laugh. When I watch his interviews, he’s so cocky now,” she added.
At the time, Brady had just shockingly led the Patriots to a Super Bowl upset over the Rams after taking over for an injured Drew Bledsoe.
“It was a different time,” Reid said of the early 2000s. “We used to go out, do whatever we wanted — then bam. It just changed so fast.”
It remains unclear if the two have had any interactions through the years since she has such a strong opinion of his character today.
This isn’t the first time she has discussed her history with the former New England Patriots quarterback. When asked about Brady during a 2014 interview on Australia’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Reid replied, “[We] have kissed. He’s pretty good-looking.”
Just last year in an interview with NBC Sports Boston, she said, “I dated Tom Brady,” the actress said. “He was a great guy. He’s a really nice guy, a really sweet guy. We had a lot of fun.”
Brady has had zero comments about her and no one knows if he has been asked about Reid at all.
Brady went on to date Bridget Moynahan, and the two share 16-year-old son Jack. She was pregnant when he moved on to date and eventually married supermodel Gisele Bündchen in 2009, and they welcomed two children together: son Ben, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11.
Brady and Bündchen divorced in 2022.
