The Chiefs star has already decided what he is doing with his huge payout

NFL star Chris Jones went on a victory lap of SoFi Stadium after securing a mega $1.25 million bonus.

The Kansas City Chiefs defensive end, 29, needed just one Week 18 sack to secure a huge incentive payout.

Jones and the reigning Super Bowl champions took on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday evening.

The 29-year-old got close to Chargers quarterback Easton Stick several times during the first half.

But it took until the third quarter until he could successfully sack the Los Angeles backup, securing a mammoth seven-figure payout.

Jones’ one-year deal included a $1.25 million bonus if he accumulated 10.5 sacks in the regular season.

After reaching the milestone, the Chiefs sideline invaded the field to celebrate with the 310-pound lineman.

Jones fell to the bottom of a pile-on before the Kansas City star was engulfed by his ecstatic defensive line.

One fan gasped in response to the footage: “Big money for a sack.”

Another wrote: “That looks like the most fun they’ve had in the last half a year.”

While a third added: “The CEO of sack nation!”

Jones began the year sitting out Week 1 of the regular season after missing training camp due to a contract dispute.

He signed a new one-year deal with the franchise in Week 2 – but could yet leave Kansas City in the offseason and become a free agent.

Jones told reporters: “The whole [defensive line] gets a Rolex.

“[Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo] also gets a Rolex, the coaches get a Rolex because I think it takes a collective [effort] in order to reach those types of goals.”

Jones also revealed that head coach Andy Reid was ready to haul him from the game to protect him for the upcoming playoffs.

He continued: “I had to beg him for one more series. He gave me the finger like, ‘One more and you’re done.’

“So I went on the field praying to God like, ‘Oh my God, please.’

“So thankful to Coach Reid that he allowed me to play because this was more so about the bye week.

“I didn’t have to play, but the team allowed me to play. So super grateful.”
