Larsa Pippen has opened up on Michael Jordan’s recent revelation in which he made it known that he does not approve of her relationship with his son, Marcus Jordan.

MJ was recently caught by paparazzi who asked whether he was in favor of the controversial hookup and said he was not. The response came the same day Marcus and Larsa were interviewed making claims that the former’s family is okay with the relationship. As it happened, the interview didn’t make it online until after His Airness made his feelings known.

Speaking on their Separation Anxiety podcast, Lasa said she was embarrassed by Jordan’s comments.

Marcus suggested that his father was a bit tipsy off tequila at the time and just blurted his remarks out in jest. However, Larsa did not see the funny side.

“I didn’t think it was funny,” she said (H/T TMZ). “There’s nothing funny about it. I was kind of embarrassed.”

Larsa also revealed having been assured by Marcus on multiple occasions that the Jordans were fine with them dating, so she was “traumatized” by the comments.

“I was like traumatized,” she added. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my God. What are we going to do?’ People think I lied.”

Marcus claimed that his father has reached out several times to say he’s okay with the relationship, also noting that MJ probably didn’t want to fuel speculation over them dating simply to embarrass Scottie Pippen given the beef they’ve had since 2020.
