Social media detectives reckon they’ve discovered what’s gone wrong in Philly following the Eagles late-season collapse.

The 2022 NFC Champions are out of the playoffs, having lost to the Buccaneers on Monday night. But it wouldn’t have taken a genius to figure out they were probably going to get booted after winning just one of their last six regular-season games.

Philly raced out of the blocks after last season’s Super Bowl disappointment, going 10-1 in their first 11 games. However, things took a turn for the worse thereafter.

After beating the Kansas City Chiefs on November 20, head coach Nick Sirianni was seen taunting opposing fans. At one point, Jalen Hurts had to stop him.

Fans seem to think Sirianni’s immaturity is why the Eagles have regressed as much as they have over the last few weeks.

Following that win, the Eagles beat the Buffalo Bills in a thriller, with Hurts rushing for an overtime touchdown to seal the deal.

It was all downhill from there as they won just one game after that, beating the New York Giants in their first encounter. The Giants won the second game to force a sour end to the regular season for the wounded Eagles.
