Social Media Is Going After Former NFL WR Cole Beasley For His Comments About Men Who Paint Their Nails

Nail painting is catching fire as a new fad among men, with multiple athletes and celebrities adopting the habit.

It’s safe to assume that free agent wide receiver Cole Beasley won’t be one of them.

The practice has caught on to the point where basketball Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade has been seen sporting decorated paws, drawing criticism from rapper Mase, who compared the former Heat star showing up to his recent HOF night with painted nails to seeing Michael Jordan in lingerie.

The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Francis Ngannou have also dabbled, while USC star and projected No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams has come under fire for the practice too.

Beasley, who last played for the New York Giants, took to social media on Friday to call men who participate in nail painting out. “This ain’t it,” he noted.

He even got some support from Sage Steele.

But, as you would expect, folks came after him, with one user calling for him to be canceled.

Cole does not care…

“Cancel me,” he shot back.

It appears the receiver isn’t going to back down from his take. He probably isn’t going to get canceled either if we’re being honest.
