Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ‘plan to get engaged this summer’ on 1-year anniversary after whirlwind romance

The Grammy-winning artist and Kansas City Chiefs tight end are planning to get engaged sometime this summer.

The celeb couple was first spotted together in September as Taylor, 34, attended Travis’ game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Taylor has since been seen cheering on Travis at numerous games, with Travis also showing up for Taylor during her Eras Tour.

A new source has told Page Six that the two are thinking about an engagement sometime around their first anniversary, as they believe any time earlier would be too soon.

Travis, also 34, held off from proposing to the Shake It Off songstress over the holidays as the couple didn’t want it to feel like “rushed insanity.”

The insider revealed that Valentine’s Day would be too quick a date for the couple to get engaged as well.

“Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan,” they continued, adding, “They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”

Prior to her relationship with Travis, Taylor was over three months removed from her split with The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy.

Travis, meanwhile, had been most recently linked with NBC’s Access Hollywood reporter, Zuri Hall in October 2022, according to Barstool Sports.

SPOILED SWIFT

The engagement news comes after the couple recently celebrated their first holiday season together.

A source close to the NFL star has told The U.S. Sun about some of the elaborate gifts under the Cruel Summer singer’s tree.

Travis had already booked some sumptuous getaways to help Taylor relax and unwind during the grueling European leg of her next world tour.

The pair plan to spend time together between sell-out shows in Paris and Milan, soaking up as much culture as possible.

Our insider said the Super Bowl winner also picked out some Christian Louboutin shoes, which cost around $5,000 after he customized them for Taylor.

He bought her a matching bag, setting him back about $9,000.

Taylor was also given a chic jacket from Italian designer Ferragamo, as well as a beautiful, $23,000 Cartier watch.

WOOING TAYLOR

Travis recently opened up about how he managed to woo the pop sensation last year.

“There was some wine involved, for sure,” he told the Wall Street Journal, speaking of the night before admitting he was terrified of saying the wrong thing to turn off the Bad Blood hitmaker,

“That was the biggest thing to me: make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away,” he added.

The NFL star said the duo belted out Weatus’ 2000 classic Teenage Dirtbag around his firepit after he managed to reach out to her via her team.

“I’ve never been a man of words,” he said, adding, “Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f***ing mind-blowing. I’m learning every day.”

In November, a source revealed to The U.S. Sun that despite their jam-packed schedules, Travis had continued to constantly make the singer feel important with plenty of gifts and small gestures.

“He loves to make her smile, he is a true gentlemen, a true sweetheart and he cares so much about her,” they said.

As well as flowers, Travis sent “cute notes, cards and heart shaped chocolates, to give her more sweetness in her life when they are not together.”

“I feel that he is deeply happy and invested on making this work, and wanting to show her that he is a super nice and supportive man to her, who is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and probably needs something nice and simple, without any stress, in her private life,” continued the source.

The pair’s families have also bonded well, with the insider adding that Travis “shows a lot of respect to her family and friends.”
