Cruz, who has a knack for meeting celebrities, brought her grandsons along to the House of Blues in Houston, where Reeves was scheduled to perform with his band. While the boys didn’t immediately recognize him, their initial hesitation soon turned into excitement.

Elijah’s older brother, Caleb, commented on the unexpected encounter, saying that at first when Reeves walked out, they didn’t recognize him. He shared, “He came out, and I didn’t expect his hair to be like a little white. I knew his hair was long, but I didn’t expect it to be white.”

Caleb shared his experience, saying, “I asked if I could get a picture, and that’s when my brother got to play catch with him.”
