Chris Rock has claimed that he watched ‘Emancipation’ to get satisfaction from seeing Will Smith getting whipped in the movie.

Almost one year has passed since the controversial incident that took place in last year’s Oscars, when Smith took to the stage to slap Rock after the latter made a joke about his wife’s hair.

“I rooted for Will Smith my whole life,” Rock said back in February.

“The other day, I watched ‘Emancipation’ just so I could watch him getting whipped.

“Will Smith practices selective outrage. People who are in the know, know that s**t had nothing to do with me.”
