Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons has claimed that the support of pop superstar Taylor Swift at Kansas City Chiefs games is helping Travis Kelce to take his game onto another level.

The 12-time Grammy award winner was in attendance again at Arrowhead Stadium for Kelce’s latest game against AFC West rivals the Los Angeles Chargers as they secured a 31-17 victory. In her fourth outing to see the Chiefs in action, her backing was unrelenting as she took her spot in the VIP box.

It appears that her presence in the stadium is continuing to give Kelce a major boost as he put in yet another impressive performance for his team as they went 6-1 for the season. This time around, he was pivotal with 12 catches, 179 yards and a touchdown with his new love watching on from the wings.

Kelce missed the Chiefs’ defeat in the season opener against the Detroit Lions in September, but has had 48 catches in his subsequent appearances. To put his exploits into some context, that means he has now equaled the record for most catches for a tight end in NFL history in the first six games of a season.

Now Cowboys pass rusher Parsons has given his verdict on why Kelce’s game appears to be getting better with age, following on from the Chiefs’ success in the Super Bowl last season – their second championship in the lat four years. He said: “I saw a stat that Travis Kelce plays better when Taylor Swift is in attendance.

Travis is my boy, best tight-end in the league for the last four years, so it’s obviously not just Taylor Swift. But I’ll tell you one thing: when there is a bad girl and she’s in attendance and she’s watching you, that gives you an extra boost of confidence.

He added: “I refuse to go in that car on the way home and my girl’s talking like: ‘Damn, he dropped you off today, huh?’ Nah, that’s not happening. I know what Kelce’s doing. He was already doing it, but now it’s like ‘I’m gonna’ do it more now. It’s a swagger, a confidence thing.”

What is undeniable is that the Chiefs are unbeaten when ‘Anti Hero’ hitmaker Swift has been in attendance at their games so far this season. With the chart topper in tow, it appears that Kelce’s presence on the field has grown exponentially in the time since they first began dating.
