Situated on a breathtaking clifftop plot near Costa Careyes, an exclusive hideaway on Mexico’s Pacific shoreline, lies an extraordinary estate. As per reports from Dirt, this community has long served as a concealed haven for the affluent and renowned, counting celebrities like Robert De Niro and rock icon Mick Jagger among its vacationers. This well-kept sanctuary was even hailed as “Hollywood’s best-kept sеcrеt” by The Hollywood Reporter. However, the tide turned in early 2021 when Kylie and Kendall Jenner chose this location for their getaway, instantly thrusting both the resort and this specific property into the spotlight.

Named Sol de Oriente, the villa radiates with a sunlit hue and was envisioned by Italian visionary Gian Franco Brignone, who wore hats as an artist, banker, and real estate tycoon. Back in 1968, Brignone acquired a sprawling 20,000-acre expanse of land here and embarked on a multi-year endeavor to construct an array of vibrant residences along the clifftop. Each of these circular dwellings boasts an exterior of what’s known as “elephant skin” stucco and features a soaring palapa-style roof.

French architect Jean-Claude Galibert was the mastermind behind the villa’s design, characterized by its tri-level thatched roof and a moat-like infinity pool. The dwelling, forming a star-shaped layout, covers 11,000 square feet and encompasses three bedrooms along with a collection of unique open-air living spaces that seamlessly extend to numerous sun-soaked patios – the very spots where Kylie and Kendall captured envy-evoking selfies during their stay. According to information from Dirt, the Jenner siblings paid a minimum of £5,400 ($6.5k) per night for their sojourn.

Beneath the pool area, one can find two casitas with ocean vistas, each boasting its own bedroom, bathroom, and patio. Adjacent to the cliff’s edge stands a two-story tower housing another bedroom. Naturally, comprehensive accommodations for staff are also present – the quarters that no doubt accommodated the team attending to Kylie and Kendall. Regrettably, Brignone passed away in early 2023, and now, the property, listed by Carolwood Estates, is on the market for a substantial £12.5M ($15M).
