LeBron James SUBTLY JOKES on ‘FEAR FACTOR’ comment by Shaquille O’Neal.

LeBron James trolls Shaquille O’Neal with ridiculous stat week after getting snubbed for ‘fear factor’

LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal recently called out Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James for what he saw as his inability to instill fear in his opponents when he faces them on the court. In response, James appears to have fired back with a cheeky post on his Instagram story.

Shaq was appearing on his podcast, “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” with former NBA player Mario Chalmers, who shared the perception of opposition players when encountering the reigning top scorer in the NBA. O’Neal mentioned that players have never talked about their fear of LeBron James.

He compared how opposition players saw Michael Jordan and the late Kobe Bryant as examples. However, during the debate, James’ former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate, Channing Frye, came to his rescue, offering a different perspective.

LeBron James, however, wouldn’t let his former teammate, Shaquille O’Neal, off the hook, fired back with the Instagram troll story repost. The story highlighted impressive statistics that showed James’ streak of consecutive double-digit scoring games trumping the duration of O’Neal’s whole NBA career. It had a caption:

Why is this so funny to me!!

The caption reads along with many laughing emojis.

James, however, hasn’t let that criticism bother him, as he has been focused on guiding the Lakers to a place in the postseason. Last night against the Atlanta Hawks, he showed his class by helping the purple and gold to a 136-105 home win, where he finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and ten assists.

Draymond Green disputes Shaquille O’Neal saying Warriors players feared James

Former Miami Heat players, Shaquille O’Neal and Mario Chalmers had earlier stated that LeBron James lacked the fear factor when opposing teams faced him. However, the Golden State Warriors veteran guard, Draymond Green had come out to counter those claims.

Green played host to Tristan Thompson on a recent episode of his podcast where they both discussed the comments made by Chalmers. Green has faced off with James on multiple occasions including the NBA Finals when he was with the Cavs as well as Thompson who was teammates with James during those NBA Finals.

They both disagreed with the comments made by Chalmers before Green then said that several of his own teammates were scared of LeBron James.

I know a bunch of people who were and still are in fact terrified of LeBron James. Like, I've seen it. At times I've had teammates that were terrified of LeBron James.

Green said:

While the once-intense rivalry between James and Green appears to be over, Green has been a vocal supporter of the Lakers superstar. LeBron James, who is in the closing stages of his career has nothing to prove again.
