Angus’ mom released a heartbreaking statement online following the d3ath of her son
ANGUS Cloud starred in a special moment in the Abigail movie just weeks before his d3ath, and the directors have revealed how they handled it.
The 25-year-old Euphoria actor died last year from an overdose shortly after his father passed away from mesothelioma.

Angus starred in the horror movie Abigail before the production shut down due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes that ran from July until the end of October.
The actor starred in several scenes but died before filming resumed.
Abigail is a thriller and horror movie about Dracula’s daughter and hit screens on Friday.
Angus managed to record all of his scenes before his passing and Universal decided to keep them in.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett co-directed the production having previously worked on Scream 5 and Scream 6.
The pair sat down with Variety and reminisced on their time spent working with Angus.
“It was just so evident how much fun he was having,” Tyler explained.
“I don’t think we’ve ever worked with somebody that forces the other actors in the scene to pay attention.
“There’s not a false moment in anything that he does. He kind of gave everyone permission to be a little weird and take some swings that maybe they wouldn’t have otherwise, just because of how natural and charismatic he is in a scene,” he continued.
The whole cast and crew returned to the production following the strike and said they wanted to do Angus’ role justice.

“Everybody involved really wanted to make sure that we finished the movie strong and did Angus justice. We felt a responsibility,” said Matt.
Matt also revealed a special moment in the movie where Angus specifically chose which song his character would sing.
“He was like, ‘I can’t believe we’re getting this song in a f**king movie!'” he said.
“To everybody’s credit involved, it was just never on the table to cut it. It was like, ‘No, that meant a lot to Angus. Let’s let that be a part of the movie.'”

Both directors reassured that no CGI or technology was used to reconstruct Angus in the film.
“Every single thing of Angus is Angus in the movie,” Matt added.
“There’s not even an ADR line off-camera that we needed for story. It’s all Angus.”
Abigail has received positive reviews since it’s release and boasts an impressive 88% on the review site, Rotten Tomatoes.
“Loved it, gore, acting, comedy. Very well-executed movie for horror fans,” reviewed one positive fan.
“Great cast! Awesome all around!” added another five star reviewer.
“Abigail is the best horror thriller to come out this year so far. It’s intense, exciting and somewhat funny,” wrote a third.
Abigail was Angus’ last project before he passed away in August last year.
FAMILY GRIEF
Lisa Cloud, Angus’ mother, shared a heartbreaking message on her Facebook at the time, thanking people for the love they’ve given her family during this “shattered time.”
“I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s untimely d3ath from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one,” she wrote.
Lisa said her son was reorganizing his room and placing items around the house that day, which she believes meant that he intended to be around for a while.
There was speculation about Angus possibly being suicidal after the d3ath of his father, however, Lisa said that her son had spoken about wanting to help family members with college – another sign that led her to believe this was not the case.
“I don’t know if or what he may have put in his body after that. I only know that he put his head on the desk where he was working on art project’s, fell asleep and didn’t wake up,” she wrote.
