DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE: Fans Believe Taylor Swift Has Confirmed MCU Role On THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT Album
The internet is convinced that Taylor Swift has revealed her Deadpool & Wolverine role thanks to some key lyrics on the singer’s critically acclaimed new album, The Tortured Poets Department. Check it out!
Taylor Swift’s latest album dropped last night and, somewhat unsurprisingly, it’s receiving rave reviews. Further awards success no doubt beckons for the 14-time Grammy winner, but does her future include a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Rumours have swirled for months that Deadpool & Wolverine will see Swift reteam with filmmaker Shawn Levy for a cameo (she’s also close friends with Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively).Lady Deadpool is said to be one possibility, though Dazzler seems even more likely.
The final track on the first half of the two-part anthology – titled The Tortured Poets Department – is “Clara Bow” and, on social media, fans are convinced Swift is teasing her Marvel role.

Honestly, we think this is a bit of a stretch, but it’s a surprisingly optimistic note to end a breakup album on and Swift is notorious for lacing clues throughout her lyrics. Nabbing a key supporting role like this in a movie almost guaranteed to gross $1 billion is no doubt good reason to describe the future as “bright,” anyway.
“I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer,” Levy recently said when asked about Deadpool & Wolverine potentially featuring the singer and actress. “You know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer that.”
He previously said, “I love the proliferation of casting rumors on the internet, because I never have to say what’s real and what’s fantasy, so I’m just going to go with the very cliche ‘no comment’ on all things casting [with] Deadpool 3. I will say, we’re lucky on this one. There’s certainly — is this an answer? A lot of the internet rumors are completely false, but some of them aren’t.”
