PRINCE Harry has been warned to ‘back off’ King Charles after his shock cancer diagnosis, a royal expert said.

The monarch, 75, was recently diagnosed with cancer after the disease was spotted during this prostate operation.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said a “separate issue of concern was noted” after Charles spent three nights in hospital last month.

Tests carried out have revealed “a form of cancer”, the palace added.

Whilst we saw Prince Harry rush over to the UK from LA to be by his fathers’ side, Ingrid Seward, editor in chief of Majesty magazine, has clapped back at the Prince’s decision to fly thousands of miles from his California home to be at the King’s side – but only met with his dad for 30 minutes.

Ingrid told Fabulous: “The stress of Prince Harry’s impulsive behaviour cannot have helped the King’s health.

“He loves his son but never knows what he is going to do next.

“To a man of his vintage – he is 76 this year – the idea of someone flying 11 hours across the Atlantic to see him for less than an hour is madness.

“The carbon footprint: the cost of first class return flights – over £6,000 – and the mental stress for someone as sensitive as Harry is not what his father could have wanted.

“How much happier he would have been I imagine if Harry had waited a while and then spent some quality time with his dad during his recovery.

“Of course, it was touching of Harry to rush to his dad but in reality, it can’t have done much good for either of them.”

Not only this, but the royal expert added that Harry should ‘learn to live his life’ without publicising everything he and his wife, Meghan Markle, 42, do.

She continued: “Harry needs to back off and learn to live his life without publicising everything he and Meghan are doing.

“Perhaps a little humility might gain them more popularity than their endless PR announcements.”

It is understood the Monarch will take a month to recover after the surgery as Queen Camilla stands in during public appearances.
February 5 2024 – Buckingham Palace announces a form of cancer was diagnosed during the King’s prostate op.
The statement confirms Charles has begun a schedule of regular treatments and “remains wholly positive”.
He will also be postponing front line duties on doctor’s advice but continue with his red boxes, weekly audiences with the Prime Minister, and monthly Privy Council meetings.
February 6 2024 – Prince Harry flies to the UK to be with his father as royal experts claim their four-year rift could be put aside.
The Duke of Sussex, who was informed of the news personally by the Monarch, was seen arriving into a private terminal at LAX in his black Range Rover.

It comes after Harry’s recent bombshell interview whereby the Prince revealed his hopes that Charles’ cancer fight will heal the royal rift.

The Duke of Sussex sat down for a wide-ranging chat for the first time since Charles postponed all public-facing duties.

Speaking on Good Morning America, Harry said: “I spoke to him. I jumped on a plane and went to go and see him as soon as I could.

“I love my family. The fact I was able to get on a plane and see him and spend any time with him – I’m grateful for that.”

Asked if the King’s illness could have a reunifying effect on the family, he added: “Yeah sure.

“Through all these families I see on a day-to-day basis the strength of the family unit coming together.

“Any illness, any sickness brings family together.”
