MADAME WEB Star Sydney Sweeney Seemingly Takes Shot At Hollywood Producer: "Sorry For Having Great T**s"

Madame Web and Immaculate star Sydney Sweeney has seemingly taken a tongue-in-cheek shot at producer Carol Baum’s recent derogatory remarks by donning a sweatshirt with a clear message front and centre…

We recently shared veteran film producer Carol Baum’s comments about Madame Web star Sydney Sweeney made during a recent event in New York.

The producer, who counts the likes of Dead Ringers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer among her many credits, talked about watching Anyone But You on a plane and described it as “unwatchable.”

However, Baum’s personal comments about Sweeney have seen her come under fire after she exclaimed, “Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot?”

Sweeney’s team later issued a scathing response that read, “How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman.”

“If that’s what she’s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that’s shameful. To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms. Baum’s character.”

Sweeney has proven she can act with stellar turns in Euphoria and Immaculate, while she’s also making her mark on Hollywood as a producer. Now, in an Instagram post sharing several photos from a recent vacation in Mexico, the actress has seemingly taken a shot at Baum with a tongue-in-cheek photo.

As you can see in the gallery below, she’s wearing a sweatshirt that reads, “Sorry for having great t**s.”

Last month, Sweeney addressed the apparent obsession that some people have with her body by explaining, “I see it, and I just can’t allow myself to have a reaction. I don’t know how to explain it – I’m still trying to figure it out myself.”

“People feel connected and free to be able to speak about me in whatever way they want, because they believe that I’ve signed my life away. That I’m not on a human level anymore, because I’m an actor. That these characters are for everybody else, but then me as Sydney is not for me anymore”

“It’s this weird relationship that people have with me that I have no control or say over,” she concluded.

Sweeney has recently been rumoured to be in talks for an MCU role, possibly suiting up as Black Cat in Spider-Man 4. She was a highlight in Sony’s ill-fated Madame Web, but given the response to that, it’s easy to imagine her wanting to wash away the bad taste left by playing Julia Cornwall by becoming Felicia Hardy.

As for Baum, she’s yet to respond to Sweeney but may wish to avoid further online backlash.
