NBC fans threaten to ‘stop watching network’ if popular drama isn’t renewed and say cancellation would be ‘foolish’

NBC’s viewership could take a major hit if they ax a long-running crime drama

NBC has an entire line-up of crime dramas that have strong fan bases, who fall more in love with the network’s plethora of procedural programs as time goes on.

The Law & Order spinoff Law & Order: Organized Crime is one of NBC’s most cherished series by TV watchers.

Law & Order: Organized Crime has so much support that fans are willing to abandon NBC if the show doesn’t get renewed for Season 5.

Currently, the show is in limbo as the TV station seems to be still considering what to do with the series.

Many fans worry that NBC’s delayed announcement of the show returning for another season might mean it won’t be.

Tons of NBC fans on X, fka Twitter, vowed that if Law & Order: Organized Crime was canceled, they would stop watching NBC shows.

“My partnership with any @nbc show is going to be officially over if you don’t renew #OrganizedCrime,” one X user threatened.

“Watching last night’s episode of #OrganizeCrime. The acting, writing, directing, everything is so damn good this season,” another praised before chastising the network.

The fan continued: “They’re absolute fools if they don’t #RenewOrganizedCrime because it’s the best L&O show on TV right now.”

Many more fans just insisted that NBC hustled and get the show approved for Season 5.

“Now let’s get organized crime renewed I’m not ready to say goodbye to Bell and her team #RenewOrganizedCrime #Nbc #RenewLawAndOrderOC,” one demanded.

“#RenewOrganizedCrime Why would you want to take this extraordinary show away from us? Don’t,” a second added.

“This show is amazing not just tonight! I can’t for the life of me figure out why it’s not been renewed yet, come on #nbc #RenewOrganizedCrime,” another exclaimed.

Fans have been advocating for Law & Order: Organized Crime since earlier this month.

At the beginning of the month, there was a thread on X that had fans who petitioned to save the show from possibly being axed.

Although Law & Order: Organized Crime is valued by viewers, it’s the franchise’s lowest-rating show.

BRING IT BACK!

Several fans begged NBC to renew the show after they revealed it was “in limbo.”

“How is Organized Crime not renewed??? It’s been the most consistently good this year,” an X user wrote.

“OC not being renewed yet when it’s the best of the 3 in law and order is WILD,” said another.

“Y’all better add organized crime. It’s so good rn,” a third added.

TRULY THE BEST

There were even a few fans who considered Law & Order: Organized the crime to be the best spinoff of the Law & Order universe.

“Organized Crime is the best though,” a fan said.

“OC is the best out of the law and order franchise. why is it not renewed??? Don’t piss me off,” an upset fan said.

“When the best of the 3 is still in ~LiMbO~,” an Organized Crime fan wrote.

“OC is the best of the L&Os right now like it HAS to be renewed,” one last fan said.
