The commercial network has won critical acclaim for both series of the hit social experiment.

Not only has a second civilian series been confirmed, but it seems that more details have been revealed.

Fans of Big Brother that fancy being in the house themselves have been encouraged to apply for the hit reality programme.

According to the casting call, the second series of the hit social experiment will take place in the Autumn of 2024.

It has also been stated that applicants will have to be available for up to eight weeks of filming.

However, it’s been presumed that two of the weeks contestants would be needed would be taken up by time in quarantine or hiding.

This would mean that the series would only be on-screen for six weeks or roughly 42 days.

The last civilian series also took place over 42 days, a far cry from the 93 days for Big Brother seven – when the series was at its height on Channel 4.

Ibiza Weekender star David Potts was just crowned as the winner of the most recent series of Celebrity Big Brother.

He beat out the likes of Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin and Coronation Street actor Colson Smith for the title.
